- 2 sticks butter
- 1/2 cup vegetable shortening
- 3 cups sugar
- 5 eggs
- 1 tsp. lemon extract
- 3 cups All-purpose flour
- 7 oz. Sun Drop
Directions
1. Cream butter and shortening with sugar.
2. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
3. Add lemon extract.
4. Add flour and Sun Drop alternately, beating after each addition.
5. Bake in a greased and floured tube pan at 300 for 90 minutes.
6. If you want a glaze, stir a little Sundrop into some powdered sugar and drizzle over top.
